I don't know how I missed this one... The American Life League, representing its membership of 300,000, issued a Press Release demanding that P.Z. Myers be fired:
"Following the hate-filled blog rant of Paul Zachary Myers, a professor at the University of Minnesota Morris, Judie Brown, president of American Life League, called upon university administrators to fire him."
It's one thing for someone to express an opinion on a matter," said Brown. "But Paul Myers specifically called on his readers to participate in a deliberate and malicious act of violence against the very center of Catholic worship. That is hate speech, and he should be fired for it."

I think that it is worth mentioning that although I have sent e-mails to the president, the chancellor, and the board of regents, I have not received a response of any kind... not even a generic one.
Same.
UCF President returned/acknowlegded my e-mail.
Nothing from anyone at UMM. Very professional. They would last a long time in the business world. (saracasm)
I did see a Catholic blogger who was an alumni of UMM saying that he would not give any financial support while Myers is there. Man, they got back to him fast!
I used to think people were playing the victim role when they said anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice in America. Now, I think that perhaps they were on to something.
