Gambling911.com has issued a P.R.:
"Gambling911.com reporter Carrie Stroup has been in communication with Sportsbook.com marketing to confirm the odds [of Clinton replacing Biden on the ticket] offering some time Monday or Tuesday.
One scenario: Biden steps down in the wake of the Russia/Georgia hostilities. The idea being that Biden could best serve the country as Secretary of State. "
Today on the Larry Kudlow radio show there was a guest who said a high-ranking Democratic strategists told him there is immense pressure on Obama to bounce Biden for Clinton.

Can he change running mates this late in the game?
Yes. My understanding is that the DNC governing rules make allowances where is someone "step's down", the leaders of the Democratic Party can quickly appoint the replacement without even needing to consult the delegates. It can be done on the Presidential candidate on the ticket as well.
That's not good news--a pro-abort woman democrat would be a left-winger's dream come true--
What a game plan: substituting a poor excuse for a Catholic with a poor excuse for a woman. Quite the switch.
Replacing Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton is political suicide for Obama. This would be widely condemned as a second-guess manoeuver and would highlight Obama's political inexperience. Hillary still brings her own burdensome baggage to the ticket in the person of President Bill. What happens to Obama's rationale for not bringing her on the ticket in the first place? Besides, with Hillary off of the ticket, she will be in a more commanding position to demand the nomination by right in 2012 than by being the VP nominee on a losing ticket. Hillary has too little to gain and everything to lose if she were to accept this play.
All IMHO, of course!

It is only political suicide if it doesn't increase Obama's poll numbers, which I think it would.
I thought about Hillary not having a gain in this, and I think the price would be a private agreement that Obama would be a one term president. Maybe appoint BJC Secretary of State. Every politician has their price.
I agree that it could be spun as Obama not having experience. I can see the McCain commercials now, "You don't get do-overs in the Oval Office."
Obama replaces Biden with Clinton and he shows the country that his first major decision was a blunder.
Everyone will also know that his only reasoning behind the switch was a desperate attempt to take the election.
That course may work, but it also may flop miserably.
Any good Catholic shouldn't support the Democrats in the first place!
Depends on the Democrat. You can have a pro-life Democrat run against a pro-abortion Republican, then I would support the Democrat.
