“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel and the anti-Gospel. This confrontation lies within the plans of divine providence. It is a trial which the whole Church… must take up.” Karol Cardinal Wotyla (Sept. 1976)

The Sarah Palin Problem

"Twenty years after Ronald Reagan left office, Republicans who have long missed him may have found a future Margaret Thatcher. If John McCain wins, conservatives may find one of the most enduring accomplishments of his term will have been what he did before it started: helping to fill the Republican Party's future talent bench with such a fresh and compelling figure.

Sarah Palin is a conviction politician, a naturally compelling speaker and someone who can relate to her audience on very human terms. America has just learned why Mrs. Palin enjoys the highest approval ratings of any governor in America." - The Wall St. Journal

With all the problems that the mudslinging and lies brought to Sarah Palin this week, no one has more problems this morning than Barack Obama and the Democratic Party after Gov. Palin's speech.

And now the Peggy Noonan problem. The MSM was working overtime last night to undermine the RNC. Might want to take a look here and pass around so that, once again, the truth is public knowledge, too.

I heard Mike Huckabee (sp) gave the best speech of the night. I, unfortunately, spent almost 5 hours yesterday/last night doing homework, so I didn't catch either. I'll look for them on youtube.
